Augusta Technical College’s Annual Security Report is now available at the link provided below. This report is required by federal law and contains policy statements and crime statistics for the college. The policy statements address the college’s policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security; for example, policies for responding to emergency situations and sexual offenses. Three (3) years’ worth of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the school and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus.

Augusta Technical College records all criminal incidents and alleged criminal incidents that are reported to the campus police that occur within the specific geographic locations as required by the Clery Act (On-campus Properties, Non-Campus Properties and Public Property). Other incidents reported to the campus police but are NOT required to be included in the Annual Security Report may also be contained in the Daily Crime Log. The Daily Crime Log does not include any identifiable information about a victim or suspect.
The crime log for the most recent 60-day period is open to public inspection, free of charge, upon request, during normal business hours. Normal business hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 A.M. – 5:30 P.M. and Friday from 8:00 A.M. - 1 P.M. (excluding holidays or days when the campus is closed). For incidents that are older than 60 days, the log will be available within two business days of a request for public inspection. The crime log can be requested by contacting the Chief Mike Anchor at 706-771-4021 or Sgt. Jerri Joly at 706-771-4821. You may also request a copy in person by contacting Chief Mike Anchor or Sgt. Jerri Joly at the Campus Police Department, located in the 100 building.
